Delete Your CampusDine Account

We're sorry to see you go. Here's everything you need to know about deleting your account and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

You can delete your CampusDine account directly from the app in just a few taps. Here's how:

  1. Open the CampusDine app on your phone.
  2. Tap on your profile icon or navigate to Account from the menu.
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account".
  4. A confirmation prompt will appear — review the information and tap "Yes, I'm Sure" to proceed.
  5. Your account will be deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion.

Can't access the app?

If you're unable to delete your account through the app (for example, if you've lost access to your phone or can't log in), you can still request deletion by emailing us:

Please use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"

Include the phone number or email address linked to your account so we can locate and verify your identity. We'll process your request within 3–5 business days.

What data is deleted

Once your account deletion is processed, the following information is permanently removed from our systems:

  • Profile information — your name, profile photo, and account preferences.
  • Saved addresses — all delivery addresses you've added.
  • Favourites — your saved restaurants and favourite items.
  • Cart and active orders — any pending items in your cart.
  • Notification preferences — your push notification and email settings.
  • Push tokens and device identifiers — used for sending notifications to your device.

What data may be retained

Certain data may be kept for a limited time after your account is deleted, as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Order history and transaction records — retained for up to 36 months from the date of account deletion to comply with tax regulations (GST/income tax) and to resolve any outstanding payment disputes. This data is anonymised after that period.
  • Contact information (phone/email) — retained in a hashed format for up to 12 months solely to prevent fraud and abuse on the platform (e.g., to block accounts involved in chargebacks or policy violations).
  • Legal or regulatory data — if your account is part of an active investigation or legal proceeding, relevant data may be preserved until the matter is resolved.

A few things to keep in mind

  • Account deletion is permanent. Once processed, your data cannot be recovered, and you won't be able to restore your order history, favourites, or wallet balance.
  • If you have any active or pending orders, please wait until they are delivered or cancelled before deleting your account.
  • Any unused wallet credits or promotional balance will be forfeited upon account deletion.
  • You're welcome to create a new account in the future, but your previous data will not carry over.
